Angels

Through the artist's angels we feel the flow of time, its unstoppability and our present - they are representatives between heaven and earth, symbols of peace because of whose immortality her works exist "eternally", in the past, present and future creating a circle of forms that is solid and enduring.

In her search, the artist has created a cycle of paintings in which she dissolves the spaces of cosmic aspirations filled with romantic scenes of heavenly angels in their relationship to nature (the sky they gravitate to), but also to each other.

Bright pastel-colored figures in which whiteness takes up the most space run through open surfaces with a fine color that disappears in the play of light and shadow, building strong voluminous effects that spread to the figures themselves (densely arranged curls of hair and wide, white fans of angel wings in synergy with the fluffy clouds that dominate the light blue sky).

Working on the structure of divine figures, the artist stops at the essential because white does not remain completely white, but absorbs a subtle spectrum of pastel colors with almost poetic fairytale. With an admixture of surrealist sequences, but also symbolist accents, the whole cycle exudes the harmony of opposites: freshness and serenity in the foreground and metaphysical mystery in the "background".
